- AsiaNews.it, 11/15/2008. 50,000 Hindu fundamentalists demonstrate in favor of religious intolerance. Hindu fundamentalists in India's troubled state of Orissa staged a mass demonstration denouncing Christians for "instigating conversions." The march was approved by the state government-- which is controlled by the Hindu-nationals VHP party-- despite international concern about the continuing anti-Christian violence in the state.

Hanoi, Nov. 17, 2008 (CWNews.com) Viet police stand by as mob ransacks Hanoi chapel: A Redemptorist monastery in Hanoi that has been the focus of a struggle between Catholic activists and government officials was attacked by a mob on Saturday night, November 15. Rather than trying to protect the monastery, police did their best to impede rescue efforts.
