Santa Maria del Mar Youth Group Youth Mass at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday Nature and purpose: Leading Teens Closer to Christ Open to people in grades 9 through 12 Youth Ministers: Kim & Vincenzo Cazzaniga Meetings are held after the Youth Mass, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., (we start as soon as the 5 p.m. Youth Mass ends) in the Fr. O'Flaherty Hall. The SMdM Youth Group's weekly meetings start with a free dinner each week, followed by fun, fellowship, friendship and learning about our Catholic faith. Other activities -  We also participate in  retreats (local and national),  fun trips (such as Night of Joy and Rock the Universe) and  service projects (such as coffee & donut fundraisers and St. Vincent de Paul). Adult helpers wanted: We are always looking for CORE members -- adults who can commit to helping in this ministry in many ways such as providing food, decorating to set the scene each week, technical assistance, and working directly with the teens.
