First off, I admit that my husband bought this without reading the reviews and so our issue with this product is completely our error. The item itself is good quality, seems sturdy and well constructed and arrived in good condition. I am removing one star because I feel like the description should use the word “SPARKLE” or “GLITTER” rather than bling. It is very glittery, which, is fine for a more feminine taste but my husband will not use this. The picture is not indicative of how obvious this is in person. Not worth the trouble of returning it.

After much work to remove my old plate cover (screw were really rusted on), I found out that I can not put this one on my plate in NH as it covers the name of the state on the and the registration stickers on the bottom. Other states may not be so picky, but I was told by my mechanic that my car would not pass inspection with this covering those things. I really love the look of it, though and am totally bummed about not being able to use it. Check your state guidelines before you order it.

Answer: Yes….only the bottom of the states name will show…IMO too little to be legal

Answer: It depends how far down your state name comes. Please note the word Boston is between the holes of the top portion of your plate. This should help deciphering if it will or not, if you look at your actual plate and the location of the holes as they will line up.
